KUWAIT CITY, March 15: GulfRun — powered by Zain held its 9th annual car show from March 10 to 12 at the Murouj Complex — Sahara Resort. The car show is an annual exhibition showcasing the sports cars participating in the highly anticipated 11th GulfRun race that is scheduled to take place on March 17 and 18 at the Bahrain International Circuit.
This year’s car show had more than 40 sport cars participating in the race on display; and from car dealerships participating showcasing their latest models: Audi, Aston Martin, Dodge, Lamborghini, Mercedes, and Toyota.
GulfRun is an annual car race that is managed and organized by a group of Kuwaiti car enthusiasts who want to provide a venue for amateur drivers and to raise awareness on safe driving. Over 50 participants are classified into different categories according to their vehicles capabilities and power. At the racetrack, they are trained and compete in various motorsports venues at the track. Drivers can compete against their peers in a safe and secure environment; whilst learning valuable driving skills.
