The car show is an annual exhibition showcasing the sports cars participating in the highly anticipated 11th GulfRun race that is scheduled to take place on March 17 and 18 at the Bahrain International Circuit.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s car show had more than 40 sport cars participating in the race on display; and from car dealerships participating showcasing their latest models: Audi, Aston Martin, Dodge, Lamborghini, Mercedes, and Toyota.<\/p>\n<p>GulfRun is an annual car race that is managed and organized by a group of Kuwaiti car enthusiasts who want to provide a venue for amateur drivers and to raise awareness on safe driving. Over 50 participants are classified into different categories according to their vehicles capabilities and power. At the racetrack, they are trained and compete in various motorsports venues at the track. Drivers can compete against their peers in a safe and secure environment; whilst learning valuable driving skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the past decade, we have been providing car enthusiasts with a venue to race in with the assistance of professional and qualified instructors. Many of the racers have been returning since our first year and have evolved into some of Kuwait\u2019s best drivers.\u201d Said Ahmad Al-Mudhaf, GulfRun CEO adding that, \u201cGulfRun\u2019s aim has always been to endorse a responsible and professional approach to Automobile Racing. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>The GulfRun\u2019s management team extend their gratitude to the continuous support by Kuwait\u2019s private sector, which acknowledges the important role sport plays amongst Kuwait\u2019s youth.
